GM - Open Letter to Andrew Bolt

Don’t bother reading anything written by Andrew Bolt on the issue of GM; especially if you are interested in basic biology.  Poor Andrew would not know the difference between a gene pool and a swimming pool, let alone a broadly based or a narrowly based gene pool.

Someone once told me that Andrew Bolt is what they term a ‘shock jock journalist’ so he writes his material ‘tongue in cheek’ because he could not be that stupid.  So, he could be worth a read, if only to see what he is feeding to the plebs, so as to make sure that they will remain plebs.

You will notice however, that Andrew Bolt’s work is ‘oh so balanced’.  Everything that does not suit him is ‘Left Wing’.  Well i’m not left wing, i am an extremist though; extreme middle of the road.  The further left or right people go, the more they seem to shake hands under the table; just look at the BLF come CFMEU and some of those in the AWU; where all small business is seen as the enemy.

These so-called unions pretend that they work for the people but strangely they don’t want to see:
  (1st) small (family) businesses,
(2nd) cooperatives where people run their own lives, or
  (3rd) sub-contractors in the system
Without those three groups in the system who will take over.  Well, even Silly Willy could work that one out.  So much for left wing blah blah, right wing blah blah!

However, back to the subject at hand.  Dear Andrew if you are going to write about GM crops, at least learn a bit about the subject and ignore the few mercenary scientists who have sold out on our kids for short term gain.  Read at least GM Crops in a Nutshell.  Then if you really care about becoming educated on the subject read also the material under Biodiversity especially the Vavilov Centres on this site or see what the National Farmers Union have to say about the chemical companies like Monsanto and Bayer destroying their livelihoods.  Then dear Andrew if you’d like the penny to drop with a thud, read Seeds of Deception; it is an easy read.  Your old mate George W Shrub would find it a hard slog but it is well within your range.

Please wise up Andrew
